Depending on any other plugin using shortcodes for the direct inclusion of php is just a nightmare in my book. I’d been using Exec-PHP all the way up to moving to PHP8 but just finally couldn’t get Exec-PHP to work with PHP8 after all these years of using it. Allow-PHP-Execute is now my Dev Saviour and all I had to do to replace Exec-PHP was to disable it, install and activate Allow-PHP-Execute then activate 2 of the 3 config selections. Did and Done!!! Plus, Allow-PHP-Execute only has 1 single short PHP code page so my hopes are high that it will be much easier to keep it going for a very long time into the future.

I needed to use another CMS on top of Wordpress (for a few specific pages), which required a lot of PHP code to be added into certain Wordpress pages to display other content. The fact that I could just put in the PHP/HTML code on the page without doing anything else is fantastic. I tried seven other PHP plugins and they all had different drawbacks and issues. This plugin just worked. THANK YOU!!!

this plugin is wonderful to use. and alternative syntax friendly as well as wordpress function usable as well. im able to create shortcodes using this plugin. downside is it will not function with my client’s theme which is divi by elegant themes if created without using default editor. but however I have tested it with recent version of wordpress and it allows me control only when under the default editor, but that is not a big deal. it is compatible with recent version of wordpress, but just not the divi theme which is a wonderful theme and kicks wix butt! but overall great job on the plugin. 10 out of 5 stars. 20 if you can make it fully compatible with future updates of wordpress and elegant theme’s divi wordpress theme. keep up the good work. we developers need developers like you. thank you again for this amazing gift.
