Getting started

  1. Install and activate the plugin.
  2. Go to eShip > Dashboard in your WordPress admin.
  3. Enter your API credentials (Production or Test mode).
  4. Configure your store address or set a custom shipping address.
  5. Set up shipping zones in WooCommerce and add the eShip method.
  6. Configure default dimensions and weight in the Quoter settings.

Installation

Automatic Installation

  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard.
  2. Go to Plugins > Add New.
  3. Search for “eShip”.
  4. Click Install Now and then Activate.

Manual Installation

  1. Download the plugin ZIP file.
  2. Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
  3. Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now.
  4. Activate the plugin.

Post-Installation Setup

  1. Go to eShip > Dashboard in your admin menu.
  2. Fill in your API Key (Production) or API Key (Test) from myeship.co.
  3. Toggle Test Mode if using sandbox credentials.
  4. Configure your store address or enable Custom Address for Shipping.
  5. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping and add eShip to your shipping zones.
  6. Go to eShip > Cotizador to set default package dimensions and weight.

FAQ

Do I need an eShip account?

Yes. Create your account and get your API keys at myeship.co.

Is WooCommerce required?

Yes. eShip requires WooCommerce to be installed and active.

Can I test before going live?

Yes. Enable Test Mode in eShip > Dashboard and use your sandbox API key.

Can I use a different address for shipping quotes?

Yes. Enable “Use custom address for quoter” in the dashboard and fill in your shipping origin.

What if my products have no weight?

eShip uses a default weight (configurable in eShip > Cotizador) for products without a defined weight.

Is HPOS (High-Performance Order Storage) supported?

Yes. eShip declares full compatibility with WooCommerce HPOS.
